This Summer we were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph our first Swedish wedding! Emilie and I packed our bags and headed for the sunny Scandinavian country, so excited to be part of Emma & Christoffer’s big day.
My good friend Bella, a Swede now living in Brighton, and also ‘chief bridesmaid’ had made the introduction to the couple, and helped us to get this fabulous booking. We were delighted to shoot such a unique and beautiful wedding – and for such a lovely family!
As a pair of British photographers, we were VERY excited to have guaranteed sunshine, for a change!
Meanwhile… at the boys house…
Before the ceremony we had the ‘big reveal’ and also had time to take a few photographs. The couple both looked so gorgeous in their wedding outfits.
What a cool collection of bridesmaids!
And now for the ceremony…
Emma danced down the aisle to ‘Love Is In The Air’. We loved this. A very cool way to make an entrance!
Emma and Christoffer were married in a cute greenhouse setting just outside Varberg in a small “village” called Tångaberg. The greenhouse, and now wedding venue, is called Svineriet and is run by Christoffer’s uncle and his wife, Ulf and Sofia Cronheim. The glass greenhouse was decorated with pretty bunting and butterflies, and a ‘grass’ carpet laid down the aisle.
